Our Air Duct Cleaning Process

Our air duct cleaning process removes dust, dirt and other debris from your entire system. All air duct lines or branches and trunk line must be cleaned.  Here is a diagram of an actual air duct system.

Here is a detailed step-by-step list of how we thoroughly clean your entire air duct system.

1. We cut an access hole in order to hook up our 12-inch in diameter hose to the main trunk line of the system.

2. Our hose is connected to the trunk line of the air duct system to our powerful HEPA duct cleaning system.

3. All of the debris is carried out from the air duct system to our powerful HEPA duct cleaning system during the entire cleaning process.

4. We clean each individual vent with our rotating power brush system, beginning with the vent furthest away from the furnace.

5. After each vent is cleaned with our rotating power brush system, we use high compressed air to guide the dust and debris down the entire length of the vent to the trunk line.

6. We also clean the cold air returns (larger vents mounted on the wall). Here is a before picture of the inside of a cold air return.

7. We cut a 1-inch holes to access the different sections of your air duct system to thoroughly clean it. Then use special plastic caps made especially for duct cleaning to seal the holes back up.

8. We also use a specially designed air whip to loosen the debris.

9. After the air duct system is thoroughly cleaned, we patch up any access holes that were cut with sheet metal, metal screws and aluminum tape.
